City walk

Go on an interesting city walk in central Karlshamn on your own and get to know the city. Karlshamn with its exciting history and charming city center invites you to beautiful alleys with both stately buildings and well-preserved wooden houses from the 18th and 19th centuries. Follow the sights through the city center. Note that the walk is unmarked.

Cycling

In Karlshamn there is a well-developed network of cycle paths but also many other inviting routes for cycling in beautiful nature. The national bicycle trail “Sydostleden” (southeast trail) passes Karlshamn. “Sydostleden” is a 27-mile long bicycle trail in southern Sweden that gives you a varied nature experience from the saddle. Fishing

Karlshamn is known for its fine fishing waters – both in the sea, running water and lakes. A fishing license is required for fishing in lakes and parts of  the river “Mieån”. Year-round fishing is available in blue area “Mieån” (river) and red area “Kroksjöarna” and “Lindenborgssjön” (lakes).

“Kallbadhuset” is a unique facility, located along the beautiful hiking trail “Strandpromenaden”, between the city center and Vägga harbour. At “Kallbadhuset” there are showers, toilets, saunas and sea baths in separate sections for women and men.
