Lake fishing

Karlshamn has many nice lakes for fishing, including nice put & take water.

Karlshamn Municipality is responsible for recreational fishing in:

Kroksjöarna and Lindenborgssjön (red fishing license – put & take)

Area: Stora Kroksjön, Lilla Kroksjön, Kroksjögyl and Lindenborgssjön
Fish: Rainbow, pike, perch, etc.
Fishing allowed: Year round, 06:00-22:00. Ice fishing allowed
Catch limit: 2 salmonid fish per day
Tools & baits: Spinning, reeling, fly or fishing rod. Only one move per angler may be used. Fishing with worms, shrimp, live bait or other bait is only permitted when angling and ice fishing. Ice fishing may only take place with a maximum of 1 pimpel rod and 10 anglers per fisherman.

Prices: 150 SEK/daily card, 250 SEK/family card, 250 SEK/weekly, 500 SEK/weekly, 1800 SEK/annual card

Mieån (blue fishing license – natural water)

Area: Mieån from Janneberg’s mill north to Getabron in Norrefors. The area includes the lakes Byasjön, Bruksgylet, Långasjön, Brogylet, Skärsjön, Rudegyl and Björkesjön
Fish: Pike, perch, pike, lake trout, brook trout etc
Fishing allowed: Year round, round the clock. Ice fishing allowed
Catch limit: 2 salmonid fish per day
Tools & baits: Spinning, reel, fly or fishing rod. Only one move per fisherman may be used. Fishing with worms, shrimp, live bait or other bait is only allowed when fishing and ice fishing. Ice fishing may only be carried out with a maximum of 1 fishing rod and 10 anglers per fisherman

Mieån south (yellow fishing license)

Area: The bridge at Stadsportsgatan to Gamla Landsvägsbron at Janneberg
Fish: Sea trout, rainbow, pike, perch and more.
Fishing allowed: First Saturday in February to September 30, at. 06:00 to 22:00
Catch limit: 2 salmonid fish per day
Tools & baits: Spinning, reel or fly rod. Only one move per fisherman may be used. Fishing with worm, shrimp, live bait or other bait is prohibited

Prices: 60 SEK/daily card, 80 SEK family card, 100 SEK/weekend, 210 SEK/week, 700 SEK/annual card

Mieån central Karlshamn (free fishing)

Area: From the bridge at Stadsportsgatan to the harbor (marked in black on the fishing map)
Fish: Id, roach, pike, perch and more.
Fishing allowed: Year round, 6am to 10pm. Ice fishing is not allowed.
Catch limit: Salmonid fish should be released immediately (except whitefish that may be landed).
Tools & bait: Spinning, reel, fly or fishing rod. Only one move per fisherman may be used. Fishing with worms, shrimp, live bait or other bait is only allowed while angling.
Fishing license: Free fishing = no fishing license required.

Aborresjön

Fish: Rainbow and brook trout
Prices: Day pass for non-members 200 SEK
Fishing license: Can be purchased at Konsum Svängsta +46 (0)454-32 20 12 and Gulf i Svängsta +46 (0)454-32 21 83.

Bredagyl (put & take)

Fish: Rainbow, pike, perch and more

Prices: 150 SEK/daily card
Limited number of fishing licenses. Fishing allowed all year round, only weekdays, 06:00-22:00. Winter fishing and ice fishing is allowed

Halasjön

Fish: Pike, perch, bream, lard and other white fish
Fishing license: Self-service in kiosk at Halasjön (signposted there), payment is made via Swish

Prices: Daily rent for 12 persons app. 16 800 SEK. Caught fish 130 SEK/kg.
