Experience Blekinge through ARK56 – a network of connected coastal trails in a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve. Winding gravel roads, tranquil bays, deserted islands and open sea. ARK56 takes you through the Blekinge archipelago, along its shores and out onto its waters. Choose how you want to experience nature and culture – on foot, by bike, kayak or boat. 16 hubs connect the trails across Blekinge, offering experiences, food and accommodation along the way.
ARK56 takes you through the Blekinge Archipelago Biosphere Reserve, an area designated by UNESCO as a model for sustainable development, where unique natural and cultural values exist in harmony. For you, this means a variety of experiences in unspoilt nature and well-preserved cultural landscapes.
Discover, experience and explore unique nature and rich cultural heritage along the 56th parallel, where meadows and forests meet the sea. Get away for an hour, a day or a week. Head to the next hub or around an islet. Challenge yourself, or slow down and enjoy the moment.
The hubs in Karlshamn municipality are Mörrum, Eriksberg, Matvik, Väggahamnen, Tärnö, Tjärö and the town centre.
