Kreativum Science Center

If you are staying in Karlshamn with your family a visit at Kreativum Science Center is a must. The facilities are in the Strömma area, close to highway E22, and are fun for both adults and children.

Welcome to a place where you can engage, discover, and indulge your curiosity! Kreativum is a science centre in Karlshamn that ignites curiosity across all ages. Here, you can embark on a journey of hands-on discovery, dive into intriguing experiments, and challenge your mind with exciting activities, all while delving deeper into the wonders of natural science and technology.

Kreapark – an outdoor oasis

In the summer, don’t miss the park Kreapark. Kreapark is an oasis spread over an island and a peninsula in the river Mieån that flows on the back side of Kreativum. On the island you will find several stations to explore. And also playful fountains with sparkling water as well as a raft where you pull yourself through the water with the help of a rope. There is also a tunnel where you can crawl over to the island. Here you will also find Archimedes’ screw, the Resonance swing, a no-touch-the-ground track and bridge construction.

Kreanova

Kreanova is Kreativum’s scientific dome theatre..Inside the 11-metre diameter sphere, content comes to life through captivating projections. Not only does Kreanova serve as a cinema for spectacular films, but it also transforms into a digital planetarium, guiding visitors on mesmerising journeys across the universe.

Opening hours

Kreativum is open Fridays 13:00-16:00 and Saturdays 10:00-16:00. They are always open during holidays. See current opening hours on their website.

Tickets

We highly recommend that you prepurchase your entrance ticket and the ticket to the dome cinema Kreanova in the ticket shop, in order to be guaranteed a seat.
